PARANÁ |
|
The high quality classical music, which can be
heard in squares, theatres and a stroll across the "Green City"
remember Europe. Curitiba manages to be a cosmopolitan city and, at the same
time, preserves the culture of those who took part in its building process: the
Europeans immigrants. The state also offers to its tourists its seaside. Beaches
such as Guaraqueçaba, Antonita, Matinhos and Guaratuba offer from an
eye-catching view and one of the biggest source of fish in the world to an
exciting street carnival. It is really worth going there. Paraná also offers a
spectacular sight on "Foz do Iguaçú". The waterfalls of Iguaçú
were descovered in 1541 by the Spanish Alvar Nuñes. It is formed by waters of
Iguaçú river. Among them stands out the "Garganta do Diabo" (Devil’s
Throat), which are falls as high as a 15 floor building.
